Anand(Sharwanand) is a software engineer who suffers from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and is obsessed with cleanliness. Sharwa (Mehreen Pirzada) falls in love with Anand. However, Sharwa father doesn’t agree with their relationship due to Anand’s OCD problem. How Anand convinced the girl’s parents? How Anand defeating this issue and persuade courageous woman’s family is the essence of the film.

Sharwanand character is total different from his previous movies. The performance of Mehreen Kaur Pirzada is good. Both Sharwa and_ Mehreen have done justice to their roles. Though the film has completed The comedy of Vennela Kishore will reminds you.

By listening the audio of this movie,
Audience would be interesting to see how thaman’s tunes translate onto the screen in ‘Mahanubhavudu, But it may not be effective

Director Maruthi had expected that the comedy would generate in BBM flavour but unexpectedly its not upto the mark.
Hope Maruthi would come out of BBM and Prema katha chitram flavour and try to over come with new concepts in his upcoming films.

Mahanubavudu movie has intresting elements which filled up with humor and would liked by the audience who are interested in comedy than story plot but should not expect more comedy from the director by seeing his previous film like BBM. Though the first half is filled with fun and intresting twist before interval the flow misses in second half . The director has taken a different concept OCD and from the first scene it was projected well but in second half village backdrop,a bit lengthy expected preclimax and climax will disappoint you. Songs are picturized very well and production values are good sharwanand and meheren are good looking pair on screen overall average flick.
