But the moment the friends realize that there is a ghost in the resort, they get panicked and they approach Rudra (Nagarjuna), who is a mentalist. Rudra starts investigating why the ghost is bothering those three friends and he eventually finds out a shocking truth. Who is Amrutha (Samantha) and what is her story will be interesting. The film has an emotional second half. Watch for more.

Analysis:

Nagarjuna is classy as Rudra, the mentalist. He looked a dapper and his detailed expressions makes his extraordinary exercises convincing. Samantha’s surprises with a intense performance contrast to her regular bubbly roles. Vennela Kishore and Praveen add humour. Ashwin Babu is okay. Shakalaka Shankar and VidyuRaman who had meaty roles in first part didn’t have space in the sequel. Seerat Kapoor sizzles to the max in minimal clothes.

The movie starts off on a regular note but built up on the thrill factor and delivers it right with Nagarjuna’s character. But the real fun in horror comedy genre is a bit lacking. The second half makes up for all the short comings and climax makes the movie little engaging. Movie was more simplistic. Making it a thriller based narrative by cutting down on repetitive comedy blocks would be an alternative take.
